Written DESCRIPTION
When I first heard the idea of building a treehouse my first initial thought was “this is going to be very difficult and my group is going to have to give it there all if we want to build such a complex structure such as a treehouse”. I felt pretty confident all throughout this project there wasn't really a time where I felt as if my group had not included me or the group had made me feel discouraged so over all the project rolled out just how I wanted it to so far.
One field trip that really helped me gain insight on the topic sustainable design was the field trip where the staff had taken up the whole freshman grade to twin buttes. A construction worker had given us a tour of a house that was still in its building process and he was explaining how everything that was put into place to build this house had a very important science behind it. An example he exclaimed was the wood that was placed as the walls was a special kind of scrap wood that stores heat in the winter and stores the cold in the summer so the house has it own type of temperature through the seasons he also explained why the garage and the door where facing the east, the reason for this is because the cold winds come from the west.
Throughout this project I've learned many things such as how to come up with ideas and then prototype that idea visual, how to efficiently create a structure that can hold itself up, and how to critique and reflect on my work and others. all the things I've learned during this project connect to the word sustainable design in some way or form. If I were to define Sustainable Design with the knowledge I've gathered and learn throughout this project id define Sustainable design in my own words as “A structure or object that can support itself in a positive way and doesn't impact its surroundings in a negative way.”

final Prototype DESCRIPTION
The Empathy Interview I did with one of my peers Sam Larson was very helpful feedback. I First ask what Sam values in class and what he doesn't value. I found that Sam values being out in nature while doing his classwork and Sam doesn't value being in a box-shaped classroom and taking a test. with the feedback I gathered from Sam I realized that most students like to work in an outdoor space in the sun or shade which then sparked the bases idea of a tree house structure.
I most definitely took advantage of the freedom I received from the project by research outdoor treehouse and different way to build a supportable outdoor structure. I also researched what material would be best and most sustainable for an outdoor structure some of the materials listed was plywood, paint, and muddy substance. I also used a lot of my free time to roam around campus to find a nice environment for an outdoor structure
In the physical construction of my project I accomplished many different things such as digging deep holes to place in the supports, cutting the wood to fit to scale, placing and screwing in the fencing so people feel safe and supported, creating steps up to the treehouse, and final painting the final pieces and cleaning around the work environment

Reflection QUESTIONS
In my opinion throughout this project I had to use all 21st century and HOHAM skills in some way for example I had to use perspective, Curiosity and Imagination, independent research, and of course perseverance just to build a mini prototype out of popsicle sticks, paper, and hot glue and that just one example Image how many 21st century and HOHAM skills I had to use to build the actual outdoor structure. The one 21st century skill that I had really grown and understood the project was Positive state of mind. The reason I have grown with the skill of a positive state of mind is that this project made me realize that if you take on a challenge with a positive state of mind then you can conquer any challenge even if you fail.
The 21st century and HOHAM skills I need to grow and understand to be a better project base learner is refinement. The reason why I need to grow and understand refinement better is because refinement is one of the last steps to any project for example when the treehouse was finally standing and had a sturdy platform I didn't know what to do next so I then walk 10 feet away from my project sat in a chair and really just looked at my project in detail and I started noticing that there where things I didn't like about my project such as it looked humdrum once I realized this I felt the need to add lots of refinement to my project
There was never a time during this project to where I struggled so much to where I need help although I did struggle at a certain time during the project, I always overcame the challenge.
There was a time to where I had run out of screws so I couldn't work for the rest of the day but then I found myself doing nothing so eventually I went inside to the makerspace to see what I could do to solve the problem soon enough I found a pack of nails and a hammer. Towards the end of my project I had barely had any wood left to work with and I ended up wanting to build another treehouse but without any wood left I couldn't and the only way to solve this problem Is to have money which I don't because I'm broke which lead to an unsolvable problem to where I ended my project.
I thought success for this project looked like my group and I would give it our all and collaborate and come up with a simple way to achieve our project with a smile on our faces. At the beginning of the project, I thought success look like my whole group was engaged and interested in what we were doing and no one would have nothing to do at any point during project work time. Now that we've reached the end of our project work time success looks like all my group members are proud with what they've have created and everyone feels as if they were going to Reflect on what they did it would be positive Reflection and a project that they have learned and grown from personally and physically.
If there where a student who hasn't done any project before that was hands-on learning experience id give them one sentence of advice which is “As long as you throw yourself into this project with a positive mindset and never give up no matter how hard the challenge is in front of you then you are guaranteed to be successful in some kind of matter!”
